Sad news today - well great news if you're not stuck in dreary London where nothing creative/cool/fun ever happens (slight overreaction?). Semi-Permanent have announced Timba will be speaking at this years event… and, I won't be seated at this years event. Boo. Either way it reminded me of the guy's work and I proceeded to stalk - hence this post. So let me share:
Timba Smits, the dude behind some of my favourite graphics/street/art /street art projects;
Wooden Toy magazine - easily one of the most 'designed' and most inspirational magazines around. If you can/have had your hands on a copy you'll agree. I'm eagerly awaiting the 'Music' edition to add to my collection.
Lyrics & Type - a fantastic idea and something I really want to try myself - note to self do not miss next exhibition!
Street|Studio - a new book which i NEED about Melbourne Street Art and Artists (my favourite) - note to self do not miss launch exhibitions for these things! grrrr.
but seriously, Timba, internship. call me.
